I ended up taking 4th for a small profit. Two tourney's in a row that I have done halfway decent. Last month I finished 5th out of 20.
Last night was 4th out of 19.

Were five handed, blinds are huge, I get into a three way all in. I had more chips than my buddy so he finished 5th, me 4th.

It was still a good time for only playing NLHE all damn night. At least next week I'll get to go to @mike32 for a cash game.

Man I love those Inplays. I used to have a criteria for chip sets involving all chips having different spot patterns. I’ve since thrown that one out after acquiring some Mardi Gras V.1s and loving these Inplays. Very nice and dibs if @MD Mike doesn’t want them back

Nice going. Always feels better to cash a few in a row instead of losing dozens in a row.

I've done that before as well lol.

A few years ago I had a great run in our League.

I squeezed into our championship game and ended up winning. First place paid out 1k. The following month we started our new season. I won the first two league games (20 players). I then went on to cash in 7 of 9 events with three first places and two second places.

At the end of that run I didn't cash in another league game for two years. Variance is a bitch!

In the middle of that great run I played at a charity poker room. 120 players. 30 dollar buy in. We played NLHE/PLO round by round. I chopped first and second place money for another 1k payout.

Nobody. The auction was for the Rosedale gardens set. I just got the Harrow club chips back in the spring. Probably not selling them any time soon.
