I've heard of them. They're like Abbiati/Bud Jones type of chips (plastic). They're primarily used overseas (they're from Australia). They look pretty cool ... other than that, I don't know.

    * on edit* the link takes you to their homepage, select the gaming link and chip design factory from the drop down.

I saw this on the site, it is a chip factory like program to make your own custons with their chips edgespots inlays and what not.

Would be interested to get a review of these and see what kind of chips they are. I'm gonna look around for samples.

A lot of us have been talking about those chips for a while but apparently Dolphin won't give a password for the chip machine unless you're casino. I hear they are very similar to RTPlastics.

Several years ago I registered on the site just using my current business address info and got on. It's a nifty enough tool (not as cool as Chipforge or Chipfactory mind).

I'd guess that unless you got a really large order together, the shipping and customs fees, if they'd do the job at all, would eat you alive.

    Still doesn't hurt to ask.

FWIW IIRC the chips are like RTs not BJs.

I don't really like them. I'm in Sydney and I have some chips from our casinos here (Star City and Crown) and they're nothing special. They are not milled like BJs and on some chips you can spot the defects quite easily.

Personally I would recommend not bother organising a group buy for these. If you want nice BJ type chips, get behind the Matsui buy instead.

Yeah, actually that is where I saw them first. I followed a link off of another thread here, and looked around and saw those.

Were you able to check if all the chips are Dolphin or only the lower denoms?

Now I will never be able to see your name and not think of a white man masquerading as a Spanish Flamenco guitarist.

At least you got a reply. I emailed them about a year ago several times and was ignored.

Didn't I see on these boards somewhere that the Gaming Director for the Casino de Isthmus City is a CT member? Perhaps they would supply an access code to him.

    Same here.
I downloaded their chip design program and emailed them about pricing.
I havent heard from them in 3 months.

Dont bother with the chip design program. It requires a registration code, that they will supposedly email to you.

Screen shots of it are available on the website.
