Regrettably, we found during the current round of orders just about completed that the satisfactory output of this mold had deteriorated even further. We will continue to offer the mold but I have had to increase the prices for it. Right now I can't predict how much longer it will be serviceable. In any case it won't be in use again for some time now as we need all presses for other things for quite a few months.

I'm sure it will be available for you but I cant guarantee the pricing on the $100 spots. We will have to revisit when the time comes.

Oh man! I have J5 working on a design for this mold right now. I hope the prices don't go too high.

Why don't the workers like it?

Because it is twice as much manual labor for them as the other molds, and it holds up everyone elses orders.

It hasn't produced perfect chips for 30 years. It is what it is. It's no different than it has been for years now apart from being less productive in that it basically takes twice as long to make a chip, hence the price increase from here on.

How disappointing. You sound really frustrated with the situation. I'm sorry the manufacturing on these chips are more difficult than other molds. I have over 5000 MD-50s and they are all look great. The feel of these chips are awesome too.

I agree with Jeff. I'm so happy with my set of MD-50 chips. They are awesome indeed. I'm sorry to hear that they are more difficult to produce, but be assured that the results are definitely worth the extra work.

It is frustrating in the respect that when it takes an additional week to complete a round of orders, and you are at capacity, you never get that week back, so it impacts on every other order.

We understand but what a bummer cause it's the best mold you have..... At least your not pulling it as of now.
All of your molds ROCK just to be clear:wink:
