Just got these today. I wanted a quarter to go with my trops and Josh came through for me. I bought the Paulson GCRs as well, and I wanted to note that there was absolutely no warpage this time through. Thanks to Johnny 5 for some more excellent design work.

Curious...why "one quarter" and not 25 with the cents sign?

    Because it looks cooler, ldo.

These are the bees knees to play with. Scott is sneakily grabbing some of the finest sets in New England outside of the greater Lawrence area.

We initially tried the 25c on each side of the fountain like on the inlays, but it was too crowded and did not think it would stamp well. Tried it on the bottom also, but I thought the words just looked better.

    400 quarters
    300 x $1
    300 x $5
    120 x 25
    40 x 100

The 5s are mixed 150 UNC and 150 used so they dont really mix well. Need to find some more UNC. Tony where did they all go?

    Sweet stamp!

They go perfectly with the other chips. The yellow was a no-brainer for these. They look like they came with the set.

In all honesty, I'm a little surprised (not in a bad way) that Paulson deemed the stamp to not be a problem (I say this considering the hoops that were jumped through for the PCA quarter stamp).

Great stuff enjoy 'em. Good luck finding the rest of the chips you need to make the set the way you want it.

yeah i definitely thought about this, too, but i think scott benefited greatly from the fact that it's been a WHILE since paulson printed those trop labels and without any trop text, the stamp might have been ambiguous enough that no one even noticed. in that way, maybe it's a good think the dual-sided denom looked too crowded because i think a denom on both sides of the graphic would have a much greater chance of reminding whoever had to approve them of the trop chips.

Honestly, Josh did not think it would get approved, but the worst they could do is say no, so we submitted it anyway. It may have slipped through the cracks, or may have benefitted from not having the 25c, Tropicana or Las Vegas text. Either way, no longer MP:)
