I purchased these last year sometime in a small odd lot of starbursts.
    It keeps turning up surprises.
The 1st was about 40 of the red were diamond molds (not TH&C).
The 2nd was that all the Purps and Blues were TH&C Lone Cane Version. None of my many starbursts are LCV.

I finally took a close looked at the blues, which look like cancelled .25's with the name completely marred.
I decided to stare at them and made out "gambling hall".
After only a minute I realized I could make out some letters and sat down with a pad to decipher the casino name.
To my surprise, It only took a couple more minutes "Crystal Palace Gambling Hall"

    Internet revealed this: http://www.altlaw.org/v1/cases/457707

Interesting seeing how Mark Twain chips have just surfaced ---same casino I wonder?

It is interesting what is under some starbursts or when they double stamp one side and forget the other :)

EP - I have some blue chips that look very similar, nice edges, seemingly unused but some of them also have a slight discolouration like that chip, a little bit of faint green. Do you know what it is/caused by/how to remove ? :)

I didnt think it was discoloration, but just dirt. I have not cleaned them.
The scan shows this in that large closeup.
But to the naked eye, I see no dirt or discoloration.
    They look sharp and minty.
