    The good version, BG.

It's not a disastrous problem in the grand scheme of things....but if Joe could get it rectified, make the factory aware if it....then why not. I prefer not having inconsistencies with my chips. Especially a chip that sees action more than 3/4s of the tourney.

Perhaps I'm describing the one with the darker outer edge spots as darker pink incorrectly, granted. They could very well be an actual purple. The bottom line is that the darker ones are the closest of the two (at least IMO) to the official ME.

No, not at all. The pics I posted are from the OP in this thread (way back on page 1), from the first chip shipment that PGI received. Was just curious regarding which color category they fell into. Apache's pic clearly shows the 'less-dark' outside spot color.

There is already a thread somewhere (either here or on PCF) containing comparison pics and relative percentages that some people have of each yellow chip spot color variation. My set contains both versions, although once mixed together, I had not even noticed it until somebody pointed it out with a comparison pic.

Color consistency is just one more reason I initially requested that all of my chips come from the same production run (which PGI did not honor).

This is a Group Buy "interest thread." If you want to purchase immediately, go here: http://www.apachepokerchips.com/championship-poker-series.html

If you want to get in on the Group Buy, post your desired quantities, sit tight, and visit the notes in the original post by Palm:

Since chips haven't even been ordered yet, I'd say you're looking at at least 3-4 months before delivery.

I would be intersted in an 1100 tourney set.

    t25-300
    t100-300
t500-100 (color changed to lavender) .34cent
    t1000-250
    t5000-150

I hope I am understanding the label/color change correctly.

I would be in for approx. 200-300 tourney chips to top off my racks to even 100s.

Great news Joe! I had to bow out of the original GB so this is nice to hear. I'm in for at least 500 tourney chips

Ugh. I might have to be out, again. I hate when life gets in the way of buying chips.

I have a PGI credit that I'm willing to transfer for slightly less than what it's worth. PM if interested

What's a pgi credit? I'm planning to participate in the group buy, so if it's something that I can use towards that I can help you out.
