I need addresses from everyone that made it on the list.

I have been going through the chips and sorting out the ones with inperfections. The samples may have inperfections so I have to decide what to do. I don't feel it is right to charge full price for samples that have inperfections.

    Any advice?

Imperfections, I can find all kinds of Imperfections in the sample sets I have received lately (4 sets), I know I paid full price and I have no quorums about it. The manufacturing process for these chips is not 100 percent in any manner.
Post pic's like k9dr said. I like this set and I am excited to get the samples...

I'd like a sample set if there are any still available.

I have some replacements so the chips that are sent as samples should be better than the worst ones shown here.

The $1 chips have the most imperfections followed by the quarters, then the $5s and the least imperfections on the $20s.

OK, those are defiantly imperfections, that is a bummer, I am not sure how I would handle these either.

Is it just the extra chips that are defective or do some of your ORDER come in like this?
I might contact CPC about this...

Some are from the extras, but many are from the order. I did contact CPC and they have no problem sending out replacements. I am just not sure I will be getting enough replacements to completely cover my set and the samples. After I get the replacements I will follow up with the samples.

Additionally, CPC did state that the MD-50 mold is no longer being used due to defects. Hopefully they sent enough extras to cover defects.

I am surprised some of those passed QC at CPC. I am glad to hear they are offering replacements.

I don't think that's quite true. According to this thread, it will still be used but at a higher cost per chip.

Yes, unfortunately a higher defect rate is to be expected with the diasqr mold. Don't sweat the sample, your set comes first imo. I'd feel really bad having a pristine sample set while knowing that some of your chips that regularly see the table are in far worse condition.

If I get a sample set, feel free to send me one of the defects. In no way should you feel bad for keeping the best of the set that you concepted/art directed/paid for!

^^This. I don't think you'll find anyone here who will complain about the condition of a sample set, unless your dog uses them as chew toys before shipping.

Too bad on the MD-50 - looks like a great mold really is on its last legs.

If you don't mind a couple inperfections I can probably get you a sample set. Send me a PM with your address if you want some.

For me, as long as one side is ok, and can be displayed, I'm good with the imperfections. Send me a chips that has a problem on one side if you have any.
