    The host is working on it. They had some ticket issues but I sat on the phone with them this evening from the truck to ensure that an administrator is assigned and ticket escalated. I imagine they're looking around before pulling the offending code from the index.

    The restore was complete but the infected files remain. Fortunately the forum files are fine, it's the root files that are affected. This means that we can continue to use the forum as normal but the host is working on manually cleaning the index file(s). I am having them determine to method of entry and remediate that as well.

    There is no indication that a forum user account is the method of entry as this is at an FTP level. database files are unaffected, and passwords are included in that (safe). passwords are hashed as well, as another layer of protection.
