Several years ago, my Dad was at the Showboat Casino watching the Professional Bowlers do their thing in a tournament. The Showboat put out some special chips for the occasion. My Dad got all 4 of the chips and had 3 of them signed (Earl Anthony was not there). I put them away and forgot about them......(in 1996)

As you can imagine, it is difficult to find stuff when you have no idea where you put it. Dad has asked me several times if I ever found those chips. I always hated to tell him that I knew I had them but didnt know where they were. I have looked for them many times and never could fnd them. I thought I may have put them in a jacket pocket that I never wore. I was afraid for a long time that I gave away the jacket to goodwill or something.

Well.....yesterday I got the urge to go through some boxes in the garage. I consolidated some stuff and threw away some stuff. I really was just wanting to organize the mass of boxes. I started working on them again today

    guess what I found!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to have found these. I am positive that they are super rare with the signatures.
    - The Showboat is long gone. It was tore down a while back.
    - I hate that the Earl Anthony chip didnt get signed. He has passed away.
    - Mr. Weber has also passed away and this is my FAV chip of the bunch. My dad actually bowled in a league with Mr. Weber many years ago in California. I also got his signature on a shirt (that I was wearing) when I was bowling a tournament in Reno.
    - Mike Aulby is one of the all time greats and a triple crown winner.
    - Mark Roth is also one of the greats and one of the few guys to pick up the 7-10 split on TV.

This is by far my FAVORITE set of chips. Hope you like them too:)

Man thank god you found them. I bet your dad is really happy. Cool story behind the chips. It is too bad that Earl Anthony passed, it would have been sweet getting all their autographs. I never knew of such famous bowlers. These guys would have passed me by and I wouldn't have a clue. I'm curious to know what the value is of them.
