Bergs thinks that people don't celebrate the small things in life enough. Bergs invites others to put their own accomplishments with a small picture in this thread. Please follow the Nooker style format in Bergs' post below.

Congrats to robinnh for getting a urinal in his master bathroom. A lifelong dream realized, this bathroom finishes first out of 2 for robinnh's favorite bathroom in the house.

Grandgnu registered for an online freeroll days in advance and forgot to play it once. He finished 1,778th out of 3,562 players just sitting out and never playing a hand! Grandgnu is expecting the cover of Bluff & CardPlayer magazines for this amazing accomplishment, and excepts sponcer monies to be on the horizon!

toonexile is amazed that grandgnu cannot spell sponscer correctly after it's numerous appearances in the other thread.

toonexile once received a certificate for swimming 2 lengths of the swimming pool without drowning. toonexile believes his mother will have kept said certificate and will retrieve it to post a scan when he next visits his parents.

Grandgnu thinks Bergs messed up. Bergs, unlike Nooker, actually CASHED and saw a return on investment.

pltrgyst is amazed that toonexile criticized grandgnu's spelling and then proceeded to put an apostrophe into the possessive "its".

pltrgyst received kudos from Mrs. pltrgyst this very morning for not only being awake, but being ambulatory with cup of coffee in hand before Mrs. pltrgyst left the house for whatever it is that She refers to as "work".

Mrs. pltrgyst further observed that this is the second time this has occurred in 2012, and seemed optimistic that a trend seems to be forming.

(pltrgyst is not necessarily pleased at the degree of mastery lately displayed by Mrs. pltrgyst in the timely formulation and verbalization of sarcasm.)

Bergs thinks Grandgnu is probably correct. Bergs paid $100 to enter the tournament, won $200, tipped the dealer and house $20, and owes PAZ914 another $20 for giving him a lucky TRK RB chip that was instrumental in winning 2 flips to propel Bergs to a 5th place mincash finish with bubble protection.

That leaves Bergs with a positive cash flow of $60, which is $60 more than Nooker1958 has made in the last few tournaments Bergs looked at.

Bergs thinks Nooker can say whatever he wants about his tournament prowess, but he's never knocked out JoseRijo with 2nd pair, bad kicker after value betting it when the Ace came on the river (without an ace in his hand). So Bergs has that goin' for him. Which is nice.

Bergs wonders whether JM has any accomplishments that JM would like to share with the class. Perhaps the framing of his new life-size Justin Bieber poster?

Bergs congratulates Grandgnu for having internet connectivity and a computer. Great job Grandgnu! Bergs thinks you're alot better than the average, run-of-the-mill gnu.

Bergs is very happy that RobinNH has a pot to piss in. Bergs wants to congratulate RobinNH on being the 4th person in New Hampshire with plumbing. Bergs will miss the outhouse in the back, however...particularly the poster of Raquel Welch on the wall.

JM once raised with pocket aces from UTG pre-flop and won the blinds uncontested. JM considers this to be the penultimate achievement of his poker career.

Jake_rrr once eliminated every person in the game on the first game of the league he runs.
Jake_rrr once folded 68hh in a game pre-flop to a big raise to see 5h7h9h come out on the flop. Jake_rrr still thinks about all the moniez Jake_rrr could have won.

Grandgnu is honored that Nooker has chosen him as his target amongst so many fine posters here at chiptalk. Grandgnu feels just like Charlie Sheen, WINNING!

Grandgnu hopes to one day not win a tournament like Nooker, but to barely cash and then brag about it like he did actually win the tournament.

Grandgnu wonders what Nookers strange obsession with phallic symbols means.

Robinnh just landed 2 more consulting gigs for the end of this year. One for $20k for 4 days work, and one for $50k for 10 days work. Robinnh thinks this is better than a $28k cash, as it involves no risk, and guaranteed payout. Robinnh will not go out on the bubble of these consulting gigs, and the work is fun, non-stressful, and involves working with friends who will also earn similar amounts. Robinnh and his friends laugh heartily as they do the work at a ridiculous pay rate.
