We are proud to announce a few updates to our World Poker Series chips designed by Johnny5!

First of all, sample sets are now available! The sample sets include all 12 denominations, with 6 aligned edge chips and 6 non-aligned edge chips. Pricing is $13.95 in the US (+$1.00 Canada, +$3.00 all other international orders). They can be purchased on our website at:

    http://www.abcgiftsandawards.com/wpschips.htm

    Other changes:

-Our chips are now available on our smooth chips only. The majority of our chip orders have been smooth chips, especially from those who have purchased our sample packs that had both smooth and textured chips, thus, we are discontinuing the textured chips from our offerings.

-Non-aligned edgespots now available! It was our original intention to offer these chips only with aligned edgespots. Due to the fact that we have received many requests for a less expensive non-aligned option, we have decided to offer them in that manner. The pricing is $.65 per chip for the non-aligned edges, $.80 per chip for aligned edges.

-Chiptalk free US shipping still in effect! For World Poker Series chip orders (non-sample pack), use the coupon code: abcchiptalk
for free shipping on your chips! International orders for non-sample packs must be done by emailing us. Please mention the abcchiptalk discount to receive $15.95 off of the international shipping cost.

    Thank you,
    Gene

I have been working with Gene for a while on a custom set of chips, and I wanted the textured chips.
Gene told me they were discontinuing there textured chip, and that they are now uesing the new smooth mold.
So on my last sample set I ordered some of there smooth chips. I liked the surface textured better then there old smooth chips.<O:razz:</O:razz:
<O:razz:Not as slick as the old mold samples I have, but silky to the touch.
<O:razz:I now will be happy to use the smooth chips in my final order.</O:razz:
    <O:razz:Just my two cents.

    Hi Jello-

We switched to different smooth chips in November...the new ones are much nicer than the original smooth chips!

    Thanks,
    Gene

If they are the ones that my prototypes came on (I assume they are), they actually feel less slick then my Condado Beach ceramics (sunfly).

Your assumption is correct...just about all smooth orders since November have been on the "new" smooth blanks.

    Thanks,
    Gene

I am really curious how these feel. I purchased my WSOP chips on the old smooth blank, which my friends and I like a lot, and now you are telling me they are better than those!?!?! *drools*. Now I can't wait to get my cash set!!! :)

To tell you the truth, I hated the rolling edges on the "old" smooth chips, they were way too plastic-like in appearance for my liking; everything else about them was okay.

Now I have to get samples of these "new" smooth chips ... any sample set I order from your site will be on this new blank? If not, which sample set can I buy that has the new blank?

    Hi Jello-

All of the smooth chips are on the current blanks now. You can order "samples" for any of the following chips (textured purchasing buttons will be removed soon). I will go ahead and put all the links because most of these are chiptalk only pages, with no links from our main website.

World Poker Series (12 chip sample set $13.95):

World Players Club - Jokers (11 chip sample set $13.95):

Rabbit Hunting Chips (10 chips for $10):

I recently got some chips on the new smooth blanks and they are VERY nice. I really like them a lot. They really do have a satiny finish to them.

Thanks Gene. I just ordered 2 sample sets of the WSOP replicas. Although I've said I wasn't a big fan of the "old" smooth chips, I was still considering getting a few custom chips from ABC ... right now I have other sets in the works, but I'll make my rounds to getting customs from ABC too ... and depending on how I like the new smooth chips, it may be sooner than later.

We will have Horseshoe Tribute sample sets available soon...we're still trying to catch up with current orders. :) There will be new denoms, and customization on the horseshoe chips in the near future!

    Thanks,
    Gene

    Hi Pokertvstar-

I'm back! Sorry for my absence...we had to go out of town. I already had the edges of the new denoms done, so I just have to do the faces and check with JT and Fins to make sure we're set to go!

    Thanks,
    Gene
