This was my first set of real poker chips that sent me "down the rabbit hole." It wasn't too long and I had to try out some Paulsons. At this point I was still playing on the kitchen table and it didn't feel right so I decided to build a poker table. The Paulson chips had a better feel than the Modern Clays but then these beauties became available and I just had to have a set. I started to get into photography and wanted to buy a bunch of camera gear so I sold off all my chips to finance a new hobby. :^( But it wasn't long and I was jonesing for a chip fix... The Noirs were no longer available so I was left searching... I decided on a set of the NPS chips. I needed something nice to keep them in so I started a little woodworking project. It wasn't long and I found a nice set of Speakeasy chips by BCC so of course I couldn't resist. I kept the Speakeasy chips for a while and learned that the Protege line of chips were going to be discontinued so I sold them to purchase a nice set of Proteges. This was going to be the last set I would ever need to own.... I was sure of it. I had been thinking about getting a new poker table and I came across a good deal for one that came out of a local casino. It was a little rough but the price was right. I wasn't real sure at first but when I got it home and cleaned it up I was pretty happy with the decision. It didn't take too long and I decided it needed a new playing surface so a new project was born. During the table project I couldn't pass up on a great deal for a little set of Paulson World Tophat and Cane chips. I'd been having a bit of sellers remorse after selling my Noirs, so as soon as I found some on eBay I bought them. I really thought I was content at this point..... Then...... What about looking into my very own CUSTOM SET??!!!!
