    Hello Everybody!
Sorry I haven't checked in for so long. It's been really busy around here. That's good I suppose. I wanted to update you on the next round of seating sets. I've been working on the new artwork for the Royals for months and hitting roadblocks. The Royals theme just didn't work well with the previous layout.

I finally decided to go with a different theme. I decided to go with heraldic animals. The one below is the first draft of a Double Headed Eagle. It works great. I really like this one and I think it will print beautifully.

I think the other heraldic animals I've thought about are the
    1) standing English heraldic lion, orange/yellow
    2) a western medieval dragon and possibly, reddish brown
    3) a knight on horeback, silve/slate

but I'm open to suggestions on that last one.
There would also be the Dealer button. I just didn't have time to work that up this morning.

Let me know what you think.

Latest update. I think we'll go with orange for the eagle and a violet for the dragon, gold for the lion and I'm still not decided on the last character.

Definitely in for the Orange set, like them a lot!
Waiting to see the others as I would want 2 tables worth.
Still wish I could have gotten in on the 'Suits set', but oh well.

I updated the Lion and the Eagle.

I've updated both the images I posted earlier instead of re-posting the images. So check them out above.

Changed the single lion to two lions with a single shield for the table marker.

Also changed the heads of the eagle and its shield.

I may offer the original suits again. I will just need enough people to buy each set to fulfill the minimums of 25 per set.

I'd be in for this new set as well as a set of the originals if you were able to offer them again. :)

Any ideas for a third heraldic animal and corresponding color?

Here are some of my favorite options that I'm looking into.

    Centaur
    Minotaur
    Mermaid or Siren
    Unicorn
    Pegasus
    Octopus or Kraken
    Knight on horseback
    Whale
    Ram
    Stag
    Wolf
    Boar
    Fox
    Elephant
    Griffin

I've heard donkey before but I'm not sure about that one, lol.

And with the Griffin I think we have the lion and the double headed eagle already. The design of the griffin may end up a little too closely resembling both of those.

Now the two or three that I really like are the half-human options...
    Centaur, minotaur and mermaid.
I think they would be awesome.
I know the mermaid is but I'm not sure how closely related the centaur and minotaur are to heraldry really. I know they're mythic but... Maybe someone can help with that.

    Next favorites would be
Unicorn or Pegasus - both of these I consider real contenders.

    What do you guys think?

Wolf. I might have game of thrones withdrawals.

I am interested. This would go with my new custom cloth I ordered.

I don't know what the cost of a set would be, but I'm probably interested. I would love to see a stag set.

Looking really good, as usual. If I did not say it yet, I am probably in for a set.....Unless the next ones are the King Queen Jack Jester......I really want those to go with the suited set I bought last time...

Here's the prices from the previous GB:

    • 1 x 107mm Table Marker Plaque - $5.25 (optional)
    • 1 x 60mm Dealer Button - $3.60 (optional)
    • 10 x 46mm Seating Chips - $.82 cents each = $8.20
    • 1 x Black Velvet Storage Bag (8" x 8" x 5") - $5 each (optional)***

Cu3, I think Joe has tried to do the king, queen, joker concept and wasn't happy with how it looked. These are probably going to be the only option for adding on to the suits sets.

    Duh duh duh....

Here's the Mermaid and the final design of the set. I'll be refining the designs, opening an order thread and then I'll get the prototypes done while ordering takes place.

Let me know what you think folks.

    BTW...
We can add shells, starfish or a bikini, etc if the bare chest offends or may offend any of your players. But this has to be done before the final production.

Thanks pokerdweebz. I should have the order thread set up in the next couple of days.

I still need to gauge whether there is enough interest to do another round of the suited designs as well.
