Neoprene Table Topper - What diameter if it was round?

re: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/tenper...rest-more.html

Note: The new order will most likely be the same exact oval shape, simply because changing the order may cause more setups fees or huge minimum run.

BUT! Just in case... if we decided to do them round this time instead of oval, what diameter would you prefer?

Discuss.

If I didnt give you a poll option exactly like you want, choose the closest and explain please.

In fact, please justify your choice if you feel the need to.

I would buy one round but I know I would buy easily 2 or more oval.

I think better too big than too small. As long as the betting line is far enough in,the smaller tables could cut to fit. Too small and some people will have an inadvertent racetrack.

52 should be pretty good i think.

A round one would be AWESOME!!
I voted 48", it's the exact size of the table we play on at work.

I agree with the above though. I wouldn't even care if the betting line got too close to the edge by cutting, it could just be a decorative edgeline then.

Re: Neoprene Table Topper - What diameter if it was round?

I am in for two round ones...I said 58" because that is the diameter of the White Sam's Club tables I use. Now if it was smaller that wouldn't be a problem (stacks could be kept on the table instead of the neoprene and the neoprene could be used like a raised betting area like on table with a race track.

On the other hand...if its larger...what would I use to cut it?

Re: Neoprene Table Topper - What diameter if it was round?

Good question. I remember somebody cutting their oval ones into mousepads and such. Maybe extra sharp garden shears or something?

edit: BTW how wide was the oval one? could it be cut in any way to fit the octagon my gf bought me? the felt and padding on it are kind of shabby.
