Here's an answer to my question of an update on the order:

I placed the order but they are confirming everything the beginning of next week! But so far so good.

if the cutoff date was Sept. 16th, shouldn't this have died then?

I just want to know if I am getting my money back or the product.

That $50 (I am Canadian) would do much better in my bankroll making me money at the poker table than sitting in your Paypal account.

My feeling on cut off dates is like this, leave them open until you get a firm commitment on the minimum you need to order, then set a firm cut off date for the group buy probably two weeks is a good time frame to let those waiting to jump on the band wagon.

Just thought I'd give this a bump, to see what the status is. Haven't heard anything from anyone in the thread since Sunday.

As for cutoff dates, yeah. They're good for a "guage", but certainly not a "rule".

I thought I read that they're doing a "production run" coming up, so that this order needed to be completed soon? Am I off my rocker?

Oh, and for all you people on the fence (or who forgot about this, with the new Site layout) try this. Try to "shuffle" some chips on your computer workcenter. Put an unused "cloth" type mouse-pad on the surface, and "shuffle" there. See how much easier/better it works?

Now, imagine a faux poker-table, and think how much easier it will be with one of THESE babies on your desk. Or, for "Jones" down the street, when you play on his card-table, bring this, and be a real geek, and use it for your chipstacks.

Last notice was still for a "mid November" arrival. I'm certainly still open for more orders since I am on the hook for the remainder.
