I may also swap the dk brown chip out for the colors I used for the button mock up. Does anyone know when is the deadline to make changes?

Martin indicated that he was going to try and get the poll started on Monday. If I remember correctly, This was the last change. If your design wins, or like last time where they made ALL the designs available ( yay SunFly ), you will have another opportunity to tweak the designs for the final "Production" run.
Martin, Please correct me if my recollection is wrong.

Martin, Please correct me if my recollection is wrong. | Oh man. I didn't get a chance to make any adjustments. I thought the submit date was 5/12 and then we can make changes. I miss understood.
Anyway I'm ok with how they came out, I just see some room for improvement.
Martin, did you use side a and side b? I only see one side on the prototypes.
BTW - all the prototypes look great. Every design has it's own unique appeal.

Chips: 211 | | | Re: Sun-Fly's 43mm Design Competition I think all the designs look GREAT! I only wish my design was a little more up to snuff. But, that is only because I had a limited resource, and the files I sent for Martin to use were not a very good quality. Honestly, I'm not as happy with my design as I would like to be. I do like the J, K, & Q chips of my set the best. I must say that none of what I've said above is a reflection on Martin or the fine quality of work he does. I think all the other designs by you guys are FANTASTIC and look really good, and Martin has done a SWEET job at producing GREAT quality prototypes for everyone. Even mine look great considering the poor quality of the files I sent in to him.
I need to get Illustrator from my brother-in-law. That will make a WORLD of difference! |

I actually liked them a lot more when I saw the prototypes.
what application did you use?
Also, the chip you have as your avatar. I remember you posting those mock ups a while back. did you use the same application for those? (just curious)

Chips: 1,454 | | | Re: Sun-Fly's 43mm Design Competition Kudos to everyone that submitted a design, and to Martin for again doing a fantastic job of running the contest, and getting the prototypes done. Everyone's designs look outstanding. Mine seem fairly plain in comparison, but I'm happy with the way they came out. |

I used Macromedia Flash 5 to do all my designs (avatar included). BUT!...As of today, I just got handed a copy of Illustrator 10, so I should be able to fix up my design after the poll goes up! Yay me! |

This competition has gone really well and again we have received some really nice designs. The reason this contest has been a success is down to the designs.
There are alot of people here at Sun-Fly working hard to make sure this competition is a success so I will pass on your gratitude to the whole Sun-Fly team.
The poll is now open, here is a link: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/sun-fl...7-05-08-a.html
Thanks again
