Chips: 1 | | | Theme ideas wanted for Sun-Fly 43mm chip design competition Hi all,
we are considering having a competition in the near future for our new 43mm chips and would like to know if anyone has any good ideas for themes to base the designs on?
We are open to any ideas so would be interested to hear from all of you at CT.
For those of you who may not know, we are currently holding a design competition which ends on the 29th of february. A poll will follow shortly after so you can vote for what you think is the best design.
Here is a link to the competition http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/sun-fl...mpetition.html
Thanks

You may think of the venetian masquerade ball, sicilian mafia, neapolitan fashion or....... |

I've been thinking about ideas for themes on my own for while but wasn't sure how well they would go over so I hadn't put a lot of work into the actual designs. They are all in my head and they really look great in there. Rarely do they translate so well onto paper however.
Anyway, two of the ideas I had that I thought would offer some design freedom are:
Outer Space/Alien theme
Mafia theme
Each one can be exploited in so many ways it may be another reason I haven't fully explored them yet. Too much info for me to settle on a solid design. Especially the mafia one. I have way too many ideas for that one.
There you are. I may have some more ideas for themes later when my workload drops off. Right now I'm just a little too busy to be creative.
Peace |

Chips: 207 | | | Re: Theme ideas wanted for Sun-Fly 43mm chip design competition I would love to see an art deco theme. The hard lines, the unique style of text that was used and even the colors would, imo, make for a nice set. |

You could do a mafia theme in an art deco STYLE (which would probably be pretty sweet).
I am looking forward to doing an impressionist interpretation of aliens... That's got my vote ... ROTFLMAO ... I kill me ...

That may be fun to try for a kick. Not really for a poker chip but a poster or something. I'm curious now. |
