I propose a forum called the "Trading Post". Discuss I propose a forum called the "Trading Post", on ChipTalk.net the place to go for your Poker chips and gambling tips. Read it in Site Discussion.
Can I suggest a forum for folks to trade poker or casino chips or other poker related stuff? I for one have many samples etc. individually may not be worth selling, but I wouldn't mind trading. In fact me and Niagra are in the process now of trading a few chips. This could be in the Market Place section?
To help reduce bad trades (folks that flake out), I have seen on a few baseball card forums that have guidelines that include various requirements, including registered user, minimum number of posts, how long a registered user, etc. I also remember that one site kept tract of the number of completed trades each person had and any "new" trader (having less than 5 completed trades) were required to send their stuff first.
I was going to post something similar. I have a collection of $1 chips. I have access to 5 different casinos in my area and was wondering if other people would like to trade chips from their local casinos.
I was going to wait until my custom order was complete before I posted this, but since you started it, I will add that it is something that I'm interested in.

Anyways just an idea.

Great idea..this is also done on some cigar forums. The best trade forum allowed you to leave feed back on the person you traded with. That was really helpfull.
I would be willing to contribute to a forum like that as well. I'm frequently visiting different card rooms around the CA Bay area, and would be willing to help others get samples, in exchange for trades.
