eh, these threads are strategy, even if they are bad beat stories.
I suppose. Often the intent seems more towards wanting confirmation that they played it right and their loss was indeed a bad beat. It seems to me that we're the ones adding the stategy part.
I'd rather see posts that don't show the outcome (at least initially), so the discussion really does focus on strategy. I guess that would mean posting guidelines for the forum and a bit tighter moderation. Not necessarily good things. Maybe it's just me. I loathe bad beat stories.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm glad that there's a place where I can go and rant a little about a bad beat and hopefully get some advice on future play w/out feeling like an idiot for asking. That's one of the things that made this site so much better than 2+2.
I consider BAD BEATS a temporary deposit. As good as money in the bank that I know I will withdraw in the future.
The only time you see the guy chasing you is when he sucks out on you. Just think of all the time he didn't make it and you win and he mucks his cards.
Anyway that is what I tell myself, altho at the time of the bad beat, it is emotionally bad.
Does my thread really bother you that much? I made it right after it happened, and if it's something you are going to be annoyed about I'd rather have Ten just delete the whole thread.
Edit: I know it isn't why you started the thread, but I don't want it to cause any problems or anything, it is a fairly stupid thread.
