I want to isntall one, but I want to make sure that it's not a system where chiptalk hosts the images. That would eat bandwidth and storage so fast that.... well it'd be very fast.

I want it to be easy to use, have a great looking interface, thumbnails and captions. Anyone have suggestions on installing a feautre for phpbb2 that would accomplish this?

I am not really sure what you can install that will do all of that without you hosting the pics.

Another option is putting a poll up to see how many users would use the gallery and figure out what it would cost you to upgrade your space/bandwidth and charge alittle for someone to sign up for a gallery.

I bet if the cost was reasonable ppl would use it considering they are also supporting/contributing to there home site.

yeah all the photo galleries for phpbb put the images on the server (I haven't seen one otherwise). The only other way would maybe hook it into something like imageshack (or whatever it is again) but I don't think they'd like that very much
