Chips: 37,262 | | | Splitting topics and categories We are growing fast and I think it's time to revisit how we are organizing the different forums. Click the logo in the top left so see how we currently have it laid out.
There are four Categories, and forums within each one. Let's have a free-for-all flow of ideas on how to organize the forums.
Recommend splits, consolidations, new Categories etc. Just let me know what you think. |

Chips: 2 | | | A place to post your home games would be nice. I know there is a "Home Game" Section but it seems its more for Ideas and how the home games went.
I know I have atleast 4 a week and would love for new faces to come out.
Also a Good/ bad traders/seller section would be nice. A place to post any good or bad transactions with members or companies out there. |

Chips: 37,262 | | I'm already thinking that Home Games should be it's own new category. CaptLego suggested recently that we have Chip Breakdown forum anyway...

Chips: 7,798 | | Maybe delete Auction Links?
Breaking the reviews into chips and non-chips is fine I think, no need to merge them, but you could to make less forums if that's what you're looking for.
Oh, and a gallery would be nice. |

Chips: 2 | | | I agree about the gallery section. Not like I have alot to show off but its a nice start to a collection and would show anyone willing to look.
the break down for the "Home Game" section looks good. A section for just about everything to keep things nice and organized. |

| My 2 cents!
This is a great breakdown, covers all the home game bases!!!
We also should consider taking out the Poker Chips: Other Poker Gear forum, seems kind of redundant if you have this Home Game Section.
Also the Photo Gallery idea could be organized as thumbnails only- I am not sure how to do that as you have seen from my previous posts!! I should add here that I noticed all the thumbnail photos seem to have come from ImageShack, where as I use Photobucket! This may be part of my problem!! |

Chips: 1,555 | | | I'd like to see a section on collecting. We would have to differentiate between collecting poker chips as opposed to collecting casino chips. There are already some good sites on collecting casino chips but not specifically on Poker chips.
I suppose it could be a sub-forum under Home Poker games. |

It might be time to split the Poker Chip category into different cat's, like Custom Poker Chips, Collecting, ????, ????. |

Chips: 37,262 | | | What do you think about eliminating the category "Member Reviews" and moving the product reviews into the "Market Place" category?
Same question for the Group Buys... shouldn't that be in Market Place? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
