Missing Chipsets in Chip Factory

Timing sucks because I am working on a custom order right now.

All of my saved sets used to be in the Chip Factory. Now there is no drop down to choose the saved set. I fear they are gone

It also loads slow as crap but I suspect it is the same ad issue that all of the pages have with slow loading.

Search in this forum for the same problem, there's some solutions mentioned in those threads. I don't remember offhand what they were.

For the slowness, make sure you've got the latest version of flash installed.

The Chip Factory stores user data on your computer as a Local Shared Object (Flash Cookie). It seems that Flash version 10.3+ started integrating with web browser's "clear history" functions. Previously there was no way to clear the flash cookies from within the browser, but now it seems that clearing your HTML cookies can/will now also remove your flash cookies.

If you want to look for (or back up) your Chip Factory saved data, the LSOs should be stored here (on a Windows PC):

%APPDATA%\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects

There would likely be another subfolder named with a random string, and a "www.chiptalk.net" folder below it that contains all of your saved data.

Each set you save should have it's own file. For example if I have a saved set called "set1", the file would be named "Allset1.sol"

Thanks for the info, Abby. I did clear my cookies on this computer so I'll try another one later. Hopefully they return.
I thought it was all stored server side for some reason. Doh!

Have the same problem. Found the file AllSaves.sol and backgroundobject.sol from the place Johnny mentioned. What should I do with them to get my saves back?
