M2M: so someone committed and never paid...

I already held the listing for 2 weeks after being promised payment last Friday it has not been paid this week either.
I feel have been quite patient in between the sporatic communications and told him flat out I'd hold it only to next Friday (of last week).

But my only option now seems to be mark as paid
Can I "uncommit" this guy ?
(I cant even neg him for wasting my time and my add until I mark it "PAID" ?)

do I reaally have to pay 2pts to relist the add as new?

and how do I now close this one without marking it paid?
Right now it seems to be in "deal pending" limbo forever...

were they paying via paypal? money order? check? i can't really think of a reason that it should be delayed THIS long in the postal service....???

i'm not sure how much the admins/mods will get involved re: relisting, credit to your classified credits, etc.... they're pretty clear about not getting involved in these things whether they go smoothly or not.

i will say that i hope this all works out for you and that you get your money eventually. are you against calling this member out so future members can avoid potentially getting burned?

its really more of a technical issue that I thought I'd bring to light.

my add is stuck in limbo as pending and sold due to a commit

I as the seller have no option to change it and have to wait forever if the guy never sends payment
--I cant close, cancel ,or move it back to the open listings (only pay to re-list an identical item)

I can't even make a comment in it now to note this item will not be shipped if the payment button is later clicked after I've already sold it to someone else in the duplicate add I will be forced to make.

I know there are issues Ten has with the software at the moment.

I was just pointing this new one out.
It might be good to post protocol and policy regarding this bug in the M2M.

For now, I will simply PM to the individual stating that if I do not have payment by the end of today I will simply refund his $$ if I have already sold it in my new add.
That is more than reasonable.
