Personally, I dont mind them.
Wondering what the mods think of them, and is there a policy on them.
(I had a fairly tame one in my sig for a bit but it was deleted(without notifying me))
What do you folks think of them?

How about just installing a mod so each user could disable/enable the avatars and sigs as they saw fit...

when I'm at work, I usually hide the images using the WebDeveloper extension for Firefox.

If i remember correctly it went from lamest to coolest with the addition of some Zerolux avatars

Being female I could rant and rave about these 'LIL Beatuies" but I wont. Why because they dont really bother me at all.I'm still working on mine and it's gonna be a pic of boobs that say" I've got the stack" across them.So for those of you who like them and have them KEEP THEM.

Thought I'd chime in as a female chip hound. If anyone cares, my preference would be to not have any suggestive images.

Most of the avatars here are pretty tame & silly. However, I have seen a few that I wouldn't appreciate my Mom or our younger nieces & nephews getting an eyeful of when they are browsing the site. Maybe they were the deleted ones?

However, if members are officially allowed to use avatars & signatures of female body parts, I will be happy to add images of some of the male anatomy that I admire. Just to balance the mix of course.

It is very subjective and personal what you consider tasteful/appropriate or not. For example, I like FetishGirl's avatar. Not just because she is a friend, but it because is a beautiful, tasteful image of herself. It takes a lot more cajones to post a picture of yourself than something you found on the Internet.

Maybe that's a good rule to propose, only body shots allowed are self-portraits! Hoo-boy! Who's gonna go first?

I dont mind them, but i dont lust after them all day either. Just another avatar. But they are pretty cool.
