Way to go back to search after posting in a thread?`

Ok, here is the deal. When I look at the site, I click the little link on the right that shows all threads that have new posts. I find a thread I want to read, then reply. It takes me BACK to my post or back to the forum home. Is there a way to go back to that search it did WITHOUT having to click HOME, then the link again for new threads? Or could this be added in?

Here's how I do it:

With IE, and probably FireFox, the Back button on your browser has a little drop-down arrow that let's you go back several pages with one click. I click that arrow and choose four links back, the one ending in "Search."

Yeh I could do that too, but I figured there should be a auto-way to do it. I have been to many forums that after you post, it asks if you want to return to your previous place before posting.
