Just thought I'd mention that you really need to know what you're trying to say here.

The rolling edge on a chip is the edge it rolls on - the outer edge.

Saying the "edges are not rolling" is really nonsense. If you're in the poker chip business you should use the correct terminology.

These edges are not aligned.

* grammar ------

Couldn't resist, I'm sorry.

Just thought it was funny and was laughing out loud reading the posts and then you made a tiny mistake when correcting someone's tiny mistake....Just made me chuckle.

Apparently I live in a glass house. Just drives me nuts when people crap in a sponsor's threads for no reason.

Re: New Ceramic - Dead Man's Poker Collection

I think it is an important error, though, that will probably save the sponsor from having to answer numerous PM's/e-mails asking if the chips are aligned or unaligned.

About the chips, though, I look forward to seeing the real pics because the mock-ups look great and the price isn't too bad either. You will probably sell a few of these bad boys.

Re: New Ceramic - Dead Man's Poker Collection

I like the color combos and such but I'm otherwise not impressed - it seems to be another NJ Skulls copy - just like the ABC Death Heads. They are cool though. Can we trade? 500ct for 500ct?

Jason

I don't like it when people pick apart posts either, however I have to agree with FL70 here - this is kinda a big error. For a poker chip merchant to not know basic chip lingo... ouch.

That's like selling a car and referring to the radio as the radiator.

I'm done.

Don't -neg rep me, please...

Wheres the damn rep hammer when ya need it---

Just wanted to share some of our reseller lingo so you can look at Dave's perspective-- several of our resellers refer to aligned edges as rolled edges--
why- I dont know- but they do-- they define rolled edgs as an edge that rolls into the face- or a face that rolls into the edge- meaning aligned.
Not sure I know where this even came from- but a few have aked me if we can do a rolled edge- I explained ALL of our chips have rolling edges- then after speaking with them it was clear that they were looking for an aligned face to edge chip.

I always thought in the beginning a rolling edge was opposite of Chipco- where they use the white ring to STOP the face from rolling onto the edge-
a true rolling edge just rolls from the face onto the edge-

Actually- I still think of a rollign edge as just that--- someone care to elaborate on this/
