I know some of you guys and girls don't like him, but Norman Chad cracks me up.

I like some of the things but most of the stuff I don't find funny, I think the best comparison I've heard is that he is the John Madden of poker

If only he'd pull out the highlighter pen and start circling random things on the table!
That would be funny!

He had an article in the paper the other day where he said he had a nightmare that ESPN started replaying the flop in slow motion.

Not the biggest fan, but some of the zingers he throws out really crack me up. I don't know if his comments are spontaneous or scripted, though.
The WSOP broadcasts are clearly and obviously edited. Does anyone know if the play-by-play and commentary are recorded live or if it's all done in post-production? If it's all done live, then I'll give Norm his props, but virtually anyone can be funny if they're reading from script.
