FSN is on a roll

Tonight now showing "Poker Millions- The Master II". The British invasion of poker TV has begun. So far, not exciting, though one guy is out already. In fact, even when he opened up to 4 more outs for the river, he was already walking away from the table and almost to the door! Let's see how many more boring pokerTV that FSN can find.

Edit: They are even using Bridge size cards with the SUPER INDEX for people with quad-focals.

FSN = Fox Sports Net?

If so, I'll have to see how I can catch any of those shows up here in Canada.

Yeah, I used to think it would not matter WHO produces, just put some No Limit Holdem on and I will watch it. But now I am finding there is more to it than just the game that makes it exciting for me to watch.

I like watching WPT (not home game episodes or limit games), WSOP, and the NBC Heads Up was surprisingly entertaining.

I do not like the Pokerstars European stuff or any of the WPT clones. Some of the celebrity stuff is OK if they have interesting celebs who actually understand the game, but as a rule they are not too thrilling.

I am looking forward to watching this years WSOP though, even though I have been following cardplayer.com's coverage and know the results I want to witness the action.

One of the best shows I've seen lately is the Poker Superstars Invitational and the <insert group here> vs. the pros. That is really interesting to see how the pro's adjust their play to play against completely unreasonable play.First they had Celebrities vs. Pro's, that was pretty good. Mimi Rogers did really well. Now they have Comedians vs. Pros and that is rather funny stuff.

The celebs v. the pros was awesome for the simple fact that Morris Chestnut beat Kathy Liebert heads up after she had a 10-1 chip lead, then she satrted talking smack to him about his play. She raised, which was all or nothing for him, and he pushed with rags simply because he had no chips. He sucked out on her to double, then eventually took her out.

The only way that series could have gotten better is if she went headsup for the championship against a celeb, and lost that too. Wait, that also happened. Liebert goes headsup with Patrick Warburton for it all, and he slow plays getting her to move all in against his set of queens. She gave him crap about his play also. It was awesome.

I could watch her lose all day. I can't stand her. I haven't seen any of the comedians v. the pros. If it's anything like Kathy Griffith on the WPT, I'll pass. I couldn't watch that train wreck anymore.
