Title: Shawn Sheikhan Flips Out, Matusow Goes All-In
Log: Obiously regretting his fold, Shawn Sheikhan, begins talking about his hand to members of the crowd. Mike Matusow takes issue with that, and accidentally lets the F-word slip. After the argument Kessler reraises, Matusow goes all-in, and wins the pot. Tournament Director Jack Effel rules that both players will be given a ten minute penalty - a devasting blow for Sheikhan, who is very short stocked.
heheh at least he took a short-stack in there w/ him...

there are only 3 tables... you'd think that cardplayer could give hand by hand coverage for all 3 rather than just the featured table, right?

Title: Sheikhan Doubles Up
Log: All-in pre-flop, Mike Matusow calls Shawn Sheikhan's all-in after raising. Matusow shows 7-2, while Sheikhan has Queens. The flop comes A-A-5-8-A, and Sheikhan doubles up to $400,000 with Aces full. Matusow comments "I gotta play tighter. I read Phil Hellmuth's book and I thought seven deuce was a good hand." Shawn Sheikhan goes on to steal the blinds on the very next hand.

beginning of the end for mike?

Raymer is out in 25th place.

With K-K he went all in on a 7 high board with a second heart coming on the turn. Kantor called with Q J . River brings the 2 , and the Champ is crippled.

Shortstacked, he goes all in on a K-K-7 board with A9o. Called by 5-5, and Greg is out.

Bernie outlasts the champ. Can he double up once or twice and have a shot at the final table?

Title: Matusow Wins $1.5 mil Pot
Log: With the board showing 9h-4d-6s-3s-2h, Mike Matusow bets $650,000 into Brad Kondracki. Kondracki thinks for quite awhile before finally calling. Matusow turns over 7-5 and says "Nuts." Kondracki looks for a moment before mucking his cards. Matusow picks up $1,500,000 and ends up with a little over $6,000,000. Kondracki is left with $1,850,000.
nice...
