here's a link to cardplayer's live updates.

They put the total entrants at 5661.

I have no idea where to get a payout schedule.

i haven't been following the wsop too closely, but i was pretty stoked to see that dolly got his 10th bracelet to retie chan for the most...

nope, i knew that $10,000 was the buy-in, but i wouldn't assume from that that you start off w/ 10,000 chips...

Quite a roller coaster hand for Jennifer: (from the Cardplayer website)

"Jennifer Harman, who was seated at the table on the ESPN stage, has been eliminated from this year's main event. She had taken an unbelievable hit in round one, when she flopped a set of queens against an opponent's straight, turned a full house, and then got rivered by a straight flush."

Anyone know what's happened to Gus Hansen? I don't see him mentioned in the notables on Cardplayer.com... but also don't see a Hansen eliminated update either.

Is he playing today? There are 3 Day One's, so he may not even be started yet.
