so, yeah, $10,000 is still a lot of money, but, in 1972, $10,000 was worth a lot more.

I hope they show some of the Ladies tournament. My friend entered and said it was very interesting.

I met a guy in Vegas this past weekend playing some silver strike slots that took 8th in the 2nd Tournament. 8th payed only $73K, doesn't 8th place in the final tournament pay out around a cool million $.

I read that anyone making final table of 9 will get at least 1 million. Also about $60,000 for making the cut, around 600Th place.

last year 5th place played just over $1 million... this year, i would be surprised if every final-tabler didn't make it to the million $ mark...
