I for one would like to see a second season of tilt. I dont know where they would go with the story line but I loved Don Everest. He's the JR Ewing of Poker. I saw some of the Colorado Chips on ebay but they were selling them in like groups of 100 so no complete set.

Damnit... every freaking week I was watching or recording it on the DVR... it was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away. I think less of ESPN for it.

Anyway, I'd like to pick up some of those chips... a second season should definitely increase their value... not to mention the cool factor.

Let me count the ways....

Probably less that 1% of the series was actually poker. The rest was more akin to a daytime soap opera.
The cop guy (Nickel?) was way over the top. He broke other guy's bones for amusement and never ever ever quit.
The poker play was cliche and trite. The only part of it I liked was the stuff when they were holding the "world championships" with the ESPN guys filling their real roles. Even there they overdid it as every other hand there towards the end was some 2 outer on the river or otherwise ridiculous play.
There was a scene in the first episode when "The Matador" invited TJ Cloutier and Daniel Negraneau to sit in his game and they said something like, "Nah, we'll pick a better spot". Give me a F-ing break.

etc.
etc.
etc.

Am I to guess that you really liked it? May I ask why?

Someone is selling one $10,000 chip on ebay, no cash value of course.

It definitely started horribly, but I thought it got better after the first 2 shows. It was an average show at best but it was damn entertaining and I found myself watching it every week (even after I said it was junk after seeinf the first 2 episodes).

Well, I wouldn't say that I "really" liked it - but, I did watch it, and found it mildly entertaining (see above post). Seeing that Michael Madsen and Eddie Cibrian was going to be in it is one of the reasons that I watched. Of course, once I started watching - I kept watching (that soap opera effect, I suppose)
