I'd loooove to hear Bill Walton doing commentary for poker; it would be great! For as often as he can be said to enjoy the sound of his own voice, Walton is one of the better NBA commentators, if for no other reason than he can put together 3 or 4 cogent thoughts in a row.
And I agree wholeheartedly about the Poker Royale crew -- gagh. If I wanted to listen to Kennedy blather on, I'd. . .I'd. . .well, I just wouldn't want to listen to her. Ever.

I'm watching Poker Royale Celebs vs. the Pro's. It's okay to watch when there is nothing else good on(like right now). I do have to agree though, the commentating sucks.
I'm watching it again and there is something I really hate. The commentators are always like "I would just call here" or "I would do this". If they really knew what they were talking about wouldn't they be the ones playing? Man, it just gets annoying.
