Phil Laak's 60,000 Pound Mistake

This is pretty hard to believe. Must See.

Re: Phil Laak's 60,000 Pound Mistake

Hadn't he been playing for like 48 hours at this point? I mean, obviously that's no excuse to call with A6o into a four bet pot, even when getting 2 to 1 on your money.

I didn't watch this cast so I don't know the hand histories or if the guy Laak was up against was raising light, but I feel like Phil Laak is just sick enough to muck the winner intentionally to spite the prop bettors in the hand. Not that I believe anyone would actually throw 30,000 pounds away, but if anyone would do it for spite's sake, it might just be sick, sick Phil Laak.

I made a 210 lb mistake in college but I had to win a prop bet and it was only one night. 60,000 lbs is that same mistake 300 times. No thanks.

Wait... Is that not what we're talking about?
