Nice video, will wait for its release. Black Friday will forever live in infamy for the poker world. Guess casino gambling is what we'll have to master.

- Did anyone ever see that Crime, Inc. special by MSNBC about online gambling and the ultimatebet cheating scandal, that was pretty interesting. I also read in bluff about the fulltilt scheme. Either way, very interesting and shady.

The trailer made me sad. I don't think I could sit through an entire film.

I still miss online poker. Over the weekend I finally broke down and played mixed cash games for play money. Sigh!

I do have a semi-regular cash game for real monies, but I still miss online poker -- no driving for an hour or more each way, could play for an hour or ten whenever I felt like it, could play whatever game I felt like playing, could change stakes/tables/games in the blink of an eye, and so on. Cash games = no downloading hand histories and analyzing my play in HEM.

I haven't played live poker since the day after Thanksgiving. However, that will change tomorrow at the BBBII. Booyah!

Re: BOOM: The Incredible True Story of Online Poker (Trailer)

I don't miss it that much. I found playing on-line had become a solitary grind.

I miss the free money golden years of on-line poker, and I wish it were around, as I would love to get some real coaching to up my game, but other than that, I'd rather play live, which I do fairly often.

When it comes back, and I win my prop bet with jbutler, I will be playing a LOT as I expect the fish to return like in those nature documentaries with the salmon swimming upstream to mate, and I get to be one of the bears sitting at the edge of the water just grabbing them at will.
