The only thing I've seen is a comment from Harrah's -- they got the feedback that several of the chips were too close in color. So they will be re-making a few denominations for better color contrast.

I infer from this that they will be re-using mostly the same chips as last year, not a whole new set.

It will be interesting when they get out the 25K and 50K chips. Those are the ones that needed to be remade. You had what, orange 5K, salmon 25K, and lighter orange 50K last year?

Officially, the 2007 colours were (from here, originally reported by Jim "Gaming Ore" Follis; my additions in yellow):

25 = DAY GREEN WITH FOREST GREEN AND YELLOW
100 = BLACK WITH DAY BLUE AND DARK BLUE
500 = DESERT FLOWER WITH MAROON AND PINK
1,000 = CANARY YELLOW WITH SOME SORT OF PURPLE AND PEACH (???)
5,000 = BLAZE ORANGE WITH DARK BROWN AND TAN
25,000 = PEACH WITH METALIC GOLD AND SOME SORT OF ORANGE (???)
50,000 = HOT PINK WITH LIME GREEN AND DARK GREEN
100,000 = HAWAII FLOWER WITH CHARCOAL AND METALLIC SILVER
250,000 = ALMOND WITH BRONZE AND BUTTERSCOTCH
