| | | This weeks PAD - Beth Shak...WTF?
Can someone please explain to me why Beth Shak is playing on this weeks PAD? I know she "likes" to play poker, but does she really belong on the show? |

Didn't she take 1st or 2nd in a smaller bracelet event in the '07 WSOP? She went deep at the final table for sure. I'm sure it's a combination of her being a decent player, her/ her husband's connections in the poker world, and her being a player that is "Good for TV" (trying to be PC about the point I am making about TV).
It will be interesting to see how she does considering she busted out Helmuth at the final table of the WSOP event I am refering to.

J | I actually didn't know that! She busted out Phil!?!?! WOW! Would have loved to see his reaction! Guess it will be interesting to watch her play...especially against Gus! He tends to think he's The Mack with the ladies so it's fun to watch him play against female opponents...especially when they beat him!

His reaction when getting busted by Beth was of typical Phil style. He berated her for making a terribly loose call with KQ and moaned about it for about 10 minutes. |

He had on his typical TV jerk-face but she wasn't taking any of that sh!t from him, or anyone else.
Then when she busted him, she was very gracious about it.
