Poker Den - The Big Game II: 24 hour High Stakes Cash Game

I am watching it on PokerTube.com. It isn't really high stakes but still good enough to watch. I can only imagine the thought process.... Well we got all the Cameras setup, the table is looking good. Got some cards, food and the players are starting to show up. Holy SH!T.... Where are the chips? Davie, quick go to Walmart and get some chips.

This is what they end up with.... Evidently security is not an issue. Enjoy.

Yeah...i always get a puke-impulse if i see so fugly chips on tv. In the german poker shows on TV, they mostly use the same or even dice chips! I don´t watch those anymore! I don´t know what they spent their budget for if they don´t have at least a $2000 for a nice set of chips.

In the screenshot of the first post, does anyone know what brand of cards are being used?

I like the appearance of the bordered center area of the card.

The Copag JI Cards have the same bordered center, but the spades are a little slimmer on them.

Dal Negro has that bordered center as well. That would be my guess.

Re: Poker Den - The Big Game II: 24 hour High Stakes Cash Game

Modiano would be my first guess. Also those chips and I have a history, I backpacked Australia, Thailand and Malaysia with a 300pc of those is my backpack. Its pretty funny to watch a backpack with an aluminum case of chips pass through the X-ray machine at airports. That and my headphones were right next to them so it looked like a little suitcase with 6 cylindrical rows and a bunch of wires. "Whats in the bag?" "Just poker chips I swear"
