1) Has anybody been watching this?

2) Has anybody contemplated submitting app for season #2?

random rants:

I think it would be cool to be coached by phil or annie...
they could pick apart my horrid game and maybe set me on the right path towards "winning poker".

The show is "okay"....

I think it's awkward that annie's bf is in the show.

Annie is a mental player, huh? playing with phil's head.

um......pechanga is not far from OC.

They could at least pretend it was about the players. Hollywood Dave the blackjack guy, Annie Duke's boyfriend, and a Guess jeans supermodel? Give me a freakin break. They could have done a really cool, interesting show but it is more about celebritizing Phil and Annie than anything else. I say go for it if you are interested in the show. Play poker and be on tv, and possibly win prizes, are all pretty cool. I was just ranting about its flaws.

I thought the show could have been so much more interesting (for me). It could easily have been a showcasing of how amateurs play, and how the pros would play the hands and situations differently. The pros could come out and give helpful tips to improve the amateur's game.

Instead, most of the show centers around Phil talking about how great he is, and Annie instructing the players to play weird and provide misinformation to the other team.

Fox Sports Net, title is "The Best Damn Poker Show." I believe it airs here at 9:00 pm et on monday nights, and again at 11, but times may vary as FSN usually is dependent on region.

That's because FSN is a collection of regional networks with some national programming, including BDPS. Unfortunately, FSN Chicago closed in June 2006.

Maybe we can catch it somewhere on the internet.

Episodes 4 and 5 are on PokerTube. They don't show up on the home page but can be located using the site's search function.
