Helmuth always seems to keep himself out of positions to get shown up really big. |

They need to have a live vs. online challenge with hellmuth, negreanu, matusow, etc. vs townsend, durrrr, imper1um, etc. Maybe a series of deepstack onetable tourneys like PAD but slower structure. I think that would make a great tourney. |

I don't have much of a problem with phil off-camera, but on camera i really dislike him as he will say anything to get a few minutes extra air time or look better.
I guess it has made him millions though in sponsorship deals and stuff, but I feel like his results are strong enough that he would still have a very good deal if he acted like someone old enough to drive himself to school. I have been sucked out on for far larger amounts of equity than hellmuth was, and i don't usually whine about it and challenge people to heads up... but if I did, I wouldn't try to backout of the challenge when it was accepted. | link |

Get Durrrr, townsend, and one other online stud to play against guys like Negreanu, Helmuth, et al. It wouldn't (obviously) "settle" anything over who are the better players, but it would draw good ratings, IMO. |

They could set up offices with networked computers and alternate online and live with each blind level. I think it would make great tv poker because they could have closed circut tv cams in each office, they could cut back and forth, using split screens and have any chats scroll across the bottom. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
