I was looking through youtube and found the TOC from 04-06, than "what about this year?" came through my mind. Also no circuit event this year. Or are they still to coming?

They didn't have a Tournament of Champions this year ...it is on hold indefinitely. Not sure why exactly but part of it might be because last year there was criteria to get you into the tourney and they decided to invite people as well toward the last minute and it ticked some people off.
Not sure about ESPN airing any circuit events.

harrah's should be embarassed. this is a popular event, and as best as i can tell, it's been cut not b/c of qualifications controversy, but b/c it was a freeroll and they saved themselves a few million. this after setting records for #s of participants at the 2007 wsop.
