Well, finally have my new TV and cable set up this month and with great luck have been able to watch most of the footage of the 2007 WSOP that was televised.

Just saw the final table of the HORSE event and thought that the entire tournament was much better than the ME telecasts by far.

And the chips looked great too.

What was irritating though was how they cut from one game and all of a sudden they were dealing another, sometimes I saw bust outs without even seeing the hand dealt. That was just pisss pooor editing in my opinion.

Of course, Hellmuth calling people idiots and then seeing those idiots make it to the final table in HORSE was interesting. What would have been nice is if they could at least show the cards on the table when he is calling someone an idiot so we could see the hand.

It's a shame they don't put as much effort into covering HORSE as they do the ME.

I think I wrote in another thread that the 2007 wsop was like most other years. Despite the fact that the entire wsop was available in HDTV for the first time ever (which was awesome) the actual broadcast content was very disappointing.
