Of course... And not just the feature table, but in general in the hopes that it gets any TV time. Nothing is by accident if you ever see a product or logo. It will be blurred or edited out if the sponsor didn't pony up some cash for the airtime.
Think about how much that airtime is worth. a 60 second commercial costs hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars based on the channel and time of day/programming. If a charismatic pro makes it deep or just keeps up his silly antics for the cameras, a sponsor will get far more than just 60 seconds of screen time with their logos in plain view.
My guess is a seasoned pro will get paid $100,000 plus just to show up wearing a logo'd shirt.
Redbull paid handsomely for all those references to their product by Kahn at the WSOP. I would imagine there was either a contract from Redbull with Khan to mention it and try to get it in as many shots as possible, or after the fact, ESPN tells Redbull they can edit the WSOP footage and show their product a lot for $$$$ or they will cut it out.
Any any case, ESPN is getting paid in the end as well because it's their show and airtime, so any sponsor is going to also have to show them some payola to get their product on the air, regardless of who wears or drinks it.
There is nothing shown accidentally in edited TV land, and almost certainly where product placement is concerned.
