Any thoughts on this years WSOP FEATURED TABLE

Not to sure if this has been brought up before but now that the WSOP is done, just wondering what are people thoughts on this years bean shaped WSOP FEATURED TABLE. I would like to see Rye Park sell one of these on ebay.

IMO that table is too expense to make let alone the price.

Beside that table is only good if you have a dealer otherwise the shade is to strange to play on.

Rye Park would not be the ones making them. It would be Kent at Diamond Tables of Las Vegas. Super cool guy and can do anything for a premium price. Lets just say he has a table that is around $20K. So I can just imagine what this one would cost to build, but if you have the money pick me one up as well.

I don't mind the shape so much. I like perfectly elliptical tables. That table is just too big, too tall, and too ugly. There is a point where you get no additional comfort by making the rail wider. Maybe HD cams aren't as small as SD cams and the rail had to be made that big, but I doubt it. Maybe if they didn't do something stupid like give everyone double the usual starting chip, they wouldn't need a table so big.

The rail looks WAY too wide for my taste and the blue lights look horrific. I don't mind the shape either or the raised rail.

I wonder if the width of the table had anything to do with everyone standing up to push all their chips in?

For one thing the width of the rail is like 12 inches wide. That could make one has to stand up to push the chips in.

That table has to go at least 30K.....

With Jerry Yang it was probably the width of the rail combined with the fact that he's 5' 4" that made him stand up to push in chips.
