HSP s04 ep06

The poker got A LOT better in this episode compared to previous episodes in s04. Missed it on GSN last night (Why did I bother watching the Eagles? You got me.) but caught it on pokertube today.

Looks like next week's episode will be pretty good too. I'm beginning to like live straddles and 2-7 propositions.

I agree 100%. The first episodes with Brian Brandon, Phil Laak and staff very the worst ever on HSP.
But now with the old gang it's fun to watch again. Also, Baxtor and Safai are maybe the best amateurs ever played on HSP.. oh wait, runner up to Bob Stupak.

I agree as well - we're back to some primo poker this episode. I'm becoming a big Baxter fan, although I keep hoping for Jennifer to bust a big one. That all-in to Daniel was a real cooler.

I was just looking for the Freddy Deeb going south scene in season 1 and noticed that they had 25K chips when they were playing in the Golden Nugget. Looks like the South Point doesn't have any 25K chips since they got tons of bricks at the table. I miss these

So far they have 3-episodes-per-day-filmed. That means tonight is a new day of filming, and I think it is the million dollar buyin day. Could be fun!

South Point may have 25K chips, but big chip stacks look better for the cameras (or so the average producer thinks), so the biggest chip they will have is a 5K. Maybe on the million dollar day they will use some 25K chips since you'd need 10 stacks of 5K chips for the million bucks and that seems like a lot.

I heard Phil kind of in the background requesting the 25k chips a couple episodes back.
