So, I'm flipping around cable, and I see the tag for "All In" a movie about a chick in Med. School who goes off and plays poker, blah blah blah.
Whatever- I start watching it.

All In - 2006 Rating: 4.5/10 stars
As a young girl, Alicia "Ace" Anderson (Swain) had been taught the fine art and the mathematical probabilities of Texas Hold-em poker by the father she adored. But that world came to an end when her father was taken from her in a fatal auto accident. Years later, as she enters medical school, she will need to call upon the skills her father taught her as she struggles with the rigorous medical training, mounting financial pressures and the seamier side of medicine. Her friends and fellow students combine their unique talents and skills to produce a team who may well be the ultimate poker machine. But as the stakes in both the casinos and the operating room continue to rise, Ace comes to understand what her father taught her: in order to really live, you need to go all in.

Cast:
Dominique Swain ... Ace - No Name / never heard of her.
Michael Madsen ... Seal - Same dude that played Don 'The Matador' Everest on the riveting show, Tilt.
Louis Gossett Jr. ... Caps - well known actor.
Colleen Porch ... Dr. Redmond - Don't know her, but not hard on the eyes in some shots. Took a roll in Transformers.
James Russo ... Dr. Pennington - Long list of castings. Nothing stellar, but a known actor.
Let's see- how do I say this nicely.
It's a good thing I wasn't in the garage while I was watching this. Had I been out there, I would have been closer to a rusty spoon, which I would have promptly used to dig out my left eyeball.
Acting- Gross.
Poker- Seriously- A Train Wreck
Don't ask about the chips. (punk ass ABS or something for a 5M tourney which she played... oh yeah, and won... of course. Who didn't see that coming?)
The story line and script was so ridiculous at some points, it was (again, remember the rusty spoon.....) almost like I was watching Jerry Springer. I wanted to see how bad it could get. What would they do next? OMFG- I'm going to snap.
There were a few cameo appearances:
Erick Seidel
John Juanda
Mark Cuban, yeah... he's a poker player!
Amir Vahedi
IMDB users gave it 4.5 out of 10 stars.
Honest to Christ, I have no clue which movie they were watching.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
