Maybe it has been discussed here before, but the people doing the live reporting always remind us of the fact that the dealers and players have problems to differentiate the denominations and have to look at the numbers.
Has someone pictures or info if there will be other colors used later?

wow... those really are closely matched...
I wouldn't be surprised if the colors were picked with input from ESPN based on what would look good in HD. Harrah's seems to give ESPN as much pull in what happens at the WSOP as the TD. That would be a shame. They seriously should've replaced one of the denoms. But we also haven't heard anything about anyone being hurt by it. They seem to be doing fine with them.

they should have consulted Chiptalk before they made such a brutal choice with the colors. And to think my guys get confused by the PNY $100's and $500's.

They could have consulted with the chimp they tried to enter last year and figured out there was a problem with those color choices.

One thing that was right about the Bud Jones chips from the last few years is that they were easy to differentiate. The mold patterns were actually designed to facilitate automated (computer) recognition.
