I know someone briefly touched on rumors/reports for HSP 4, but I've compiled a list of some new info, so some things might be old news.

1. buy-in is $500K, not the previous $100k
2. event is being held at the South Point again
3. (edit 8/19) show airs August 27th
4. three blinds----which are $300, $600 and $1,200 each hand. several hands also featured a straddle of $2,400
5. Jamie Gold returns and is supposed to have some big confrontations with Farha

I think I reed that that 500k buy-in is "only" one of three or four sessions total.

I'm hoping Farha ends on the good side in these confrontations...we've seen him go both ways..depending on the season.

I dont' understand the 3 blinds thing. Is there a small, big and bigger blind? or are the blinds raising in a cash game? I too hope Farha sticks it to Gold. Farha is one of my fav's, and since I dont' see Jamie outplaying Sammy, I hope its not full bad calls/bad beats coming Sammy's way. If Gold sticks it to Farha I hope its with some quality play.

I know in the past they have done a lot of blind straddles (sp?) I think I heard they made it a mandatory straddle for the big buy-in day.

As of one month ago, sources online (possibly from GSN) had this new season airing late September.

The show will start airing August 27th, just one week from now.

Love this show - can't wait. Doesn't it air at the same time as Monday Night Football? Might have to flip stations if it does...
