WPT Mirage event: pick the winner and win chips

the Mirage Poker Showdown starts Saturday 5/19 at noon pdt.

we did this for the WPT championship, and it went smooth as silk. if you're interested in collecting, this is a great chance to pick up some chips. i am the proud owner of a harold's club $5, a wynn $1, an oneida $1 BJ, commerce and normandy 50c pieces, and a turningstone snapper thanks to my boy james van alstyne finishing highest of the players picked.

let's do it again, eh?

Rules:

You pick a player
If you're one of the first 10 to pick, you also put up a CASINO chip
If you're after the first 10 picks, you MAY also put up a CASINO chip (if you wish)
He who's horse is alive last wins said chips. edit for clarity: if you don't put up a chip, you are not eligible to win the chips. sorry...put up or shut up, i guess

i'll stick with james van alstyne. can't hurt, i guess. plus he's not the guy that y'all will clamor to get.

One question. Is there a site that lists who is entered in this week's event?

If not, can I pick Big Woody?

no sir there is not. you can have bigwoody if you like. he could cash with his eyes closed, no doubt.
