saw this on PBS.. a lot of work goes into it, i think you pretty much have to be a pro to build such a table.. it's too bad they're playing with dice and crappy plastic chips though

Not to sound like a salesman but...

If anyone is looking to build a poker table and needs to buy woodworking tools check with me on this. I have sold just about every brand of tool available and quit selling all but one brand. They are definetly not cheap up front, but will make any weekender a professional fast. You would have to hear the explanation to get why.

I'm that weekender that is not a professional.

I'm getting ready to tackle my first table and will post picks as I go.

We've discussed this table at scottkeen a while ago. It's too bad Norm doesn't play poker. The table is beautiful, but terribly unfunctional.

One of our players built one of these with his buddy. He stretched it into a 10 man. The chip boxes are horribly annoying (you can't see how much the guy across from you has. Other than that, it's actually a really sweet table.
